Had a fantastic stay for two nights. The room was clean. The hotel was close to a genuine castle in a charming medieval hill town. The location was near the Duke's palace in a picturesque old town. Situated on top of a Roman fortress.

the castle on top of the hill in bovino is a hidden gem. the views are breathtaking and the village is a short walk away. the spacious rooms and delicious breakfast made our stay even better than last time. we felt like we owned the castle and the kids had a great time!
No signage outside, a bit confusing at check-in time.

Exceptionally helpful staff
Central heating, multi-channel TV, and a mini fridge bar available in the double room. Coffee, croissants, yogurt, and fresh fruit for breakfast, nice touch. - Very special and absolutely incredible location just off a fortress and the castle which overlooks Bovino and old town, and wonderful views

My recent stay at the beautiful Residenza Ducale was an absolute delight. The location is tucked away in a charming town, providing a unique and tranquil experience. The castle-turned-hotel offers a glimpse into the history of the area, with its well-preserved relics that are a must-see. Despite minimal staffing, the locals were incredibly helpful and welcoming, ensuring we found our way around the town. The room itself was spacious, tastefully decorated, and equipped with convenient amenities like a watercooker and a small fridge. The breakfast was delicious, offering a variety of options to start the day off right. Although there were a few minor challenges in finding the entrance and parking due to misleading GPS directions, the overall experience at Residenza Ducale was memorable and highly recommended. I'd definitely recommend this hotel for a unique and peaceful stay.

The rooms were incredibly spacious, big enough to play basketball in! The property was clean and comforting, making you feel like you were in a museum. The town was a beautiful hilltop community with friendly residents. We had an amazing dinner at a local restaurant, serving traditional Italian cuisine. It was truly an experience to remember.
Finding the entrance to the hotel was a bit difficult, as the GPS directed us into the town center. Driving on narrow streets can be troublesome for some.

Staying in a jaw-dropping castle with a mind-blowing view, super spacious and comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast with cappuccinos and warm pastries, superb location, short walk to the village, friendly staff.

The rooms were huge, like seriously, we could've played a full-on game of basketball in there. And the whole vibe of the place, it was like stepping into a legit museum, yo. Plus, the castle is situated in this super cool town called Bovino, which is all old-school and charming. We had a blast exploring the narrow streets and hanging out with the friendly locals. And let me tell you, the Italian breakfast they served was bomb AF! Pastries, coffee, and tea galore, it was the perfect start to our adventurous days. Honestly, wish we could've stayed longer and soaked up those castle vibes even more!
Okay, so here's the deal. While the castle was like a teenage dream come true, there wasn't a lot of wild and crazy nightlife options in Bovino.
